Jaime & Danny get Hitched!

I got back from Egypt late Monday, spent ALL day Tuesday doing stuff for Jaime's shower that I was in charge of putting together, and drove all day Wednesday down to San Diego! Oy... I was exhausted! Jet lag was in full force and I had no time to sleep and try to get back to "normal"!

Thursday was spent helping Jaime and getting things for the shower and wedding. Lots of shopping and cooking! But everything turned out great!

The table all decorated for the shower!

Making and frosting cookies in the shapes of wedding dresses is not as easy as one would think! They kept breaking on me! Luckily enough of them didn't break and I thought they turned out pretty darn cute (at least for an amateur cookie decorator)!

The food! I made this super delicious french toast casserole and a yummy egg & sausage breakfast casserole! Steph was kind enough to buy and cut up the fruit to go along with it. Everything was delicious.

Jaime got LOTS of lingerie! She was not lacking in that department after this shower...that's for dang sure! :)

We had a great time. We had the shower the day before her wedding because none of her family or close friends live in San Diego. This way we could all be there for it. I'm glad I got to put that together for her. Jaime is SO wonderful and she definitely deserved a party in her honor!

The night before her wedding, they had a get together at the beach for family and close friends. Love that Jaime lives in San Diego. The beach was gorgeous.

We had a good time. We just chatted, hate hot dogs and smores and chatted.
I loved getting to know Danny's family better. He has the BEST sisters - Christy and Julie! Jaime is lucky to marry into such a wonderful family. I think I spent most of my time at the beach get together and reception with them.

Getting our hair done before the wedding!
All the bridesmaids waiting for Jaime to come out! Yep - there were a lot of us! Danny had even more groomsmen!

They did it!!!!
Jaime did a great job putting together the outfits, don't you think!? This is SO Jaime. Didn't surprise me one bit when she told me they shoes were lime green! This girl is crazy. She died all our shirts the same color. And she dyed all the groomsmen shoes too! How this girl was able to get everything done, I have no idea!

The Happy Couple!
The boys! See the shoes - those were white when she bought them!
The Carpenter Family
Wedding Cupcakes!
Me and the lovely bride! I love this girl! Was SO happy I could be there for her big day!
Danny's sister made all these cupcakes! They turned out great!
I love this picture. It was there last dance together before they left the reception. Almost everyone had cleared out to get ready to blow bubbles at them as they ran to their car. So sweet.

Congrats Jaime & Danny! I love you guys! :)

Very impressive meal, Christine. When I read what you made my thought was, "Mckay would love that!" so maybe I'll have to steal the recipe. & talented bride doing all that stuff herself... wow. I lack the creativity and patience for that :)
