A-town!

Back in May....me and a couple of my girl friends from CT decided to meet up in A-town to surprise our friend Michelle and have a little girls weekend!! I spent a couple of days hanging out with these lovely ladies.....

Maya, Carolyn, Me, and Michelle

It was such a GREAT weekend! Maya, Carolyn and I got a hotel in the city and spent the first day relaxing by the pool. We then surprised Michelle - who had no idea we were in town and took her to dinner!

Saturday, we spent more time by the pool....but then Maya and I decided we wanted to venture around A-town and at least try to see some of it! :) Carolyn was happy just to sit and read by the pool all day...so we left her and headed towards the Coca Cola Museum.

Unfortunately we were a little late and didn't make it in time for the last tour so we just walked around and took pictures. I have been to the one in Vegas so I wasn't as bummed as poor Maya who really wanted to see it. Next time, I guess.

We walked across the street to the Olympic Park and just enjoyed the sun and the scenery and took more pictures.

Maya and I spotted the EY building.... and of course had to take a picture. Oh - that's how I know these awesome ladies. We all worked together in CT! If there is any reason why I am happy I worked in CT it was because of the awesome people I worked with! They are such amazing friends!

Saturday night was awesome! Michelle met us at our hotel and then we headed to this Tapas restaurant that my friend told me about. It was good. We just kept ordering more and more food. They kept ordering more and more drinks! ha. We knew we were about to have a hell of a night!

Michelle's friend (I think his name was Dwight) met up with us and decided to show us some of the A-town night life. So, we headed to a couple of night clubs after our awesome dinner.

I wish I had my camera with me at the clubs. You would think we were a bunch of 18-year olds out partying it up. We were out until way too late! Let's just say the ladies were very happy to have a designated driver with them! ;) Pretty sure we didn't get back to our hotel until almost 4 in the morning....and Maya and Carolyn had to leave by 8 the next morning to catch their flight. Ha. It was definitely a night to remember.

Thanks for the awesome weekend ladies!
We need to do this again soon!!! Perhaps the west coast this time? :)

After I dropped Carolyn and Maya off at the airport, I headed up to Sharon's to spend a few days with her and the boys! I love visiting Sharon at her house and spending time with her family. They are so wonderful. I had a lot of fun watching the boys play baseball and going out to dinner with Sharon and it was fun to visit with Micah. I only wish I took some pictures!!!! Ugh! Next visit, Sharon...don't let me leave until we get at least one good picture together!!
