I spent New Years in Texas with the family. The first day I was in Texas, we all drove down to San Antonio to go to Sea World! Everyone was there except for Dave and Kim who flew in that night.
We watched some of the shows together. I think we are watching the Sea Lion show here. I just saw the movie/documentary The Cove. It's all about Dolphin slaughtering. I'm not sure how much i'll be going to Sea World after seeing that movie.
Janet and Austin watching the Sea Lions!

We got to go on a couple of roller coasters. Definitely my favorite part of any kind of amusement park. This was the Steel Eel. You can tell from Caleigh's face below that it was a good time. :) She looks like she wants to die.

Not really sure what I was going here. I thinkg we were waiting for the kiddo's to go on the kiddy rides...

And decided to have our own fun killing time by taking jumping pictures!

We went on some water ride and somehow Kathy and I managed to get ourselves drenched in water. I'm still not sure how everyone else got away so dry.
The kids on the kid ride that they shut down when the wind started to blow too hard.
We took some walks to the park....
And played some Bocce Ball!
Isn't little Jenna the custest thing ever?? Gotta love this baby.
We made some delicious donuts with maple glaze!!
And some with just powdered sugar! Yum.
And even though they were so good....we had to go try out Gordough's in Austin!
The owner was there and I guess she used to make these donuts for friends/family and everyone always loved them...so she decided to open her own place. Check out the flavors! I really wanted to try the "Mother Clucker" but they were all out of chicken.
Steve was very happy with his selection. It Granny's Pie with some kind of Graham Cracker, Caramel, banana goodness..
I can't even imagine why Austin was so sad when he was about to get the best donut of his life! I mean, check these things out!?!!

Em was loving life!
And so was I! :)

We almost always go bowling when we are in Texas...but this time we played some mini putt instead.

The course was a little ghetto, but it was a good time. These paper mache looking things are seriously ancient.

It's no surprise that Dave would take this picture. "Scoop the Poop". ha ha.

One of the things I love about getting together with the family is playing games. We played Bang, Ticket to Ride, and a lot of banagrams!
Dave was nearly impossible to beat at banagrams (aka - speed scrabble).
Apparently choosing a chocolate from this box was a difficult decision for Kim and Me....
It was so much fun to spend time with my nieces and nephews! Sometimes I really wish I lived a lot closer to them so I could spent more time with them.
And I'm pretty sure that Jenna was the most popular girl around! Everyone wanted to be holding her and playing with her!

It's always fun to visit everyone in Texas. I'm planning to go back for a visit in June sometime.

These are really fun pictures-except maybe the one of me and you picking the chocolates. What were we doing/thinking? I love all the fun pics you take with the nieces and nephews.
Can't wait to see you in June!!
