BYU Recruiting

One of the few perks of my job is that every once in a while I might get asked to go back to BYU to help with recruiting events. This past week was one of those times. I flew back to Utah and spent most of the week back on campus!

It was a lot of fun to go back and it kinda made made me miss school a little bit. Don't get me wrong -- I don't miss the homework and the exams. But there is a lot I do miss...Friends, Cafe Rio, learning, freedom, Cafe Rio, naps in the afternoon if I want them, the mountains, did I mention Cafe Rio? :-)

We had a dinner at the Chef's Table on Tuesday with all the Tax professors. Dr. Gardner and Dr. Randall both gave me a hug when they saw me! I'm glad they still remember me! :)

When I wasn't busy recruiting, I was trying to get some work done....and visit my friends that are still out there. So, my few days there were quite busy! I got to see a lot of people and even made it up to my mission reunion which happened to be during the same week.

One of the highlights of my trip though had to be the fact that my car rental was a 2006 Ford Mustang! (The car rental place upgraded me b/c they didn't have any mid-size cars on hand) It was FAST and it was FUN! ;-)

I love my little civic....but it was just so fun to drive a fast car. I think if I had a fast car like that I would probably always be a great target for getting speeding tickets! :)

I made the comment while I was driving with one of my friends that I probably wouldn't ever buy a car like this..." 'Cause it's not really me!"....he responded..."the thing is...it is you!" I guess he's kind of right!

Nice car, but where's a picture of the old posse? You'll have to rent a mustang when you come visit in Atown:)
