August 2010 - MTL

After a good couple of days in CT - I headed up to Montreal to spend some quality time with the rest of the Fam! Everyone except Kathy & fam were there...

And I got to spend some quality time with these gorgeous kiddos!

We had lots of fun! And did lots of stuff together...

We walked around Montreal together! Em and I looked like twiners this day!

We went bowling Quebec style [with the small bowling balls of course]....

(When I was younger this was normal bowling to me. There aren't very many bowling alleys in Quebec that offer the big bowling balls and big pins).

We ate some Montreal Smoked Meat at Schwartz's. Best stuff ever!

I think it was Kim's first time experiencing Schwartz's. I'm going to assume from the smile that she liked it.

We (well...they) went on a bike ride on the island of boucherville. I actually ran all around the Island - I think I ran about 12 miles if I remember. I was training for a marathon at the time. The island was great to run on. But I was sad I missed all the biking fun.

We ate Queue de Castors (Beaver Tails) at the old port in Montreal. They are a must if you ever visit. So yummy.

We celebrated Dad's birthday!!!!

We went to see the fireworks! Montreal has a firework competition every summer. Different countries perform every week. They are usually spectacular.

We even had fun just riding in the car... Give Em and Me a camera and we are destined for fun. Here is the proof:

Even Mom joined in the fun....

We went to one of our favorite family restaurants --> St. Hubert Bbq. Grandma and Grandpa T. used to take us there all the time when we were growing up so I think we love it not only for the food but also the memories.

Speaking of Grandma --> We went to visit her for her birthday!

And of course we all tried to get as much Jenna time as we could. Pretty sure Kim and Dave didn't have to worry about holding her the entire trip! She is a cutie!

It was a great trip. The perfect way to end off my 5.5 months of freedom from work!!
