Coming out of Retirement

Well, it's official. Today was my last day of my mini-retirement and tomorrow I return to the mundane routine of work. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm "ready" to go back? It's no big secret I was not a happy camper at work almost 6 months ago...but to answer everyone's question. Sure, I'm ready. Am I bored out of mind and looking forward to going to work - NOPE. I don't know what is wrong with people that say they need a job or they will get bored and go crazy. There are so many things you can do with your time. The problem for me, however, was making sure I was being productive. Time can quickly slip away if you aren't too careful.

Would I be a little more excited if I was going back to co-workers like these....

And these....

..Most definitely!

But regardless of the fact that I'm not going to back to those co-workers and the fact that I will miss my free time....I'm ready (and my bank account is definitely ready) to go back to the grind.

So, here is to the end of mini-retirement #1 (And I say "#1" because I hope there are many mini-retirements to follow throughout my life!! I'm a big believer in them now!)
