Or perhaps the better way of putting it is extended vacation. I haven't been working since March 1st and it has been the best thing I could have ever done. I was extremely burnt out at work and needed a break and thankfully HR was willing to work with me and give me the time off I needed to re-energize or whatever. People keep asking me if I'm bored and I can honestly say that I am not the least bit bored. I love not working. I have kept myself busy with moving, traveling, coaching bball, running, and reading/studying.
Now if only I could find a way to make money doing this. That or find myself a rich husband!? :) Anyway, as of right now I'm heading back to work in August. Although I'll miss my time off, my bank account is going to be happy to see some income again.
