Elephant Massage

So...if any of you watch Amazing Race - then you saw that they were in Thailand on last night's episode. And they flew to Phuket Airport...

And some of them ended up at Patong Beach...Although - you didn't get to see this side of Patong Beach...

And most importantly....they all had to get the Elephant Massage before their next clue....

Oh - how I love Thailand! And....If there is one reason I wish I was a US citizen, it is so I could apply and go on the Amazing Race (this is where I anticipate a lot of Canadian jokes coming my way). I would love, love, love more than anything in the world to be able to do that!

Back in the Day...

My dad emailed me this picture a little while ago and it brought me back to the good ol' days when life was so much simpler and all you needed was a cooperative cat and some baby clothes to keep you happy. Sometimes I miss being a kid. When you had no concept of time and no responsibilities. Life was about afternoon cartoons, climbing trees, and biking to the park. Oh...the good ol' days for sure!

I had 2 pets growing up. Mittens the cat and Mickey the dog. They were great pets. Poor mittens had to put up with some things (like the above picture indicates). My personal favorite though was wrapping up her paws in something so that she couldn't feel the ground right and watching her try to walk. It was one of the funniest things in the world to me! (If you've never done this with a cat....I highly recommend doing it just once. You'll laugh. A lot.) She was such a great sport!

Look What I got....

I've been thinking about getting myself a new computer for quite some time since my personal laptop has been pretty dead and barely running for a while (Charlotte - it doesn't quite look as bad as yours...but pretty close). I gotta admit that even with all the trouble that Dell gave me...it did last a good 5 or 6 years! But it is time to say goodbye to the dell and hellllllllllllooooooooooooo Macbook!




Yes...it's true. I converted to a MAC! And I LOVE it! It's so fast and so small and so pretty! I'm in love! And now I can take fun pictures like this with the cool little photobooth app....



I just need to figure out how to find and organize everything! I keep having to google things like keyboard shortcuts that I was so used to using on a PC....and I was just trying to figure out the best way to import and save pictures. Everything is just a little different on this computer. But once I get the hang of it....I'm sure I'll never go back!
