But...I was asked by work to go visit a client I've been working with here in NY in both the UK and Frankfurt, Germany. I spent a couple of days just outside London and 3 days or so in Frankfurt with a partner from my office. Maybe I'm just destined to always be in Europe in November?

I flew out a couple of days early to hang out in London. Julie's bro and sis-in-law were kind enough to let me crash at their place for a couple of nights. So I took advantage of it to go sight seeing a bit. I've been to London a couple of time so I've done most of the tourist things. But it was still fun to walk around and just hang out.

This is the Temple Church (above) from Davinci Code. It was closed so I couldn't go inside. But it was in this very cool courtyard hidden away.

I also made it over to Harrods. I had never been inside Harrods so I thought I would check it out. I always heard it was upscale and super expensive...but oh my...I had NO idea how much. I picked up a hair clip thinking "hmm..it would be cool to have something from here.." It cost about 200 british pounds. So I put that right back where I found it! How anyone shops there...I have no idea.

I also went to see Sound of Music while I was there. It was a great show. I was singing the songs for several days afterwards! :)
Monday I had to be at the office in Reading, UK (about 30 miles out of London). Tuesday night we flew to Germany and spent the rest of the week working. It's fun to travel...but you don't really get to see a whole lot when you are busy working.
We finished work early on Friday and I wasn't flying out until Saturday morning so i went downtown to see a bit of Frankfurt. I did some shopping..bought some chocolate and bought myself a winter coat...and then just walked around. Even got street contacted by some Elders. Ha.

BUT....the REAL reason why November is so much better...
NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's right friends...I went to see NKOTB in concert a few days ago!

We made our own I Love New Kids T-shirts with Neon Paint of course. And headed over to get our tickets and check out the concert. We were excited but weren't really sure how good it would be.

It was better than we could have imagined! We were like little girls again so excited to see the boy band do their thing! It was like reliving our childhood all over again. And it was seriously one of the best nights ever!

They sang all their old good songs...and we of course knew all the words to all of them!

And we definitely still have crushes on Jordan and Joey.

They also sang some of their new songs...which really weren't that bad. I think I almost liked them better in concert than listening to their old stuff. Since they wen't thru puberty their voices aren't quite as high as they used to be.

We had SOOOOO much fun.

I've looked at the pictures and videos I took at least once a day since the concert! Jaime and I area NKOTB fans all over again!
PS...I've been trying to load the videos but Blogger is being a pain...so I'll try to do that another day. If you are a new kids fan at all..you have to watch them.
