June was a fantastic month. It started off with me taking a trip to Vancouver, Canada. I decided at the last minute that I should go to my grandpa's 90th birthday party. I don't get to see Grandpa that often since he lives so far away and I'm so glad I went. I had a fantastic time.
It was so much fun to celebrate his birthday with him, his friends, and my family. He's always been one of my favorites. He has joke for everything and always manages to put a smile on my face.
Steve also made the last minute decision to fly out for the event....It would have been nice if the whole family could have been there, but it's not that cheap to fly to Vancouver. It was fun having him there.
British Columbia is beautiful....unfortunately we didn't have the best of weather - so we didn't get to enjoy it too much. But we did venture around a bit on our last day and took a bunch of fun pictures. Hopefully I'll get to go back again and spend a little more time there.
I had another fun car rental. Another reason I wanted good weather!! I put the top down and took my grandpa for a ride even though it was a little on the cold side. We had the heat on full blast! But it was a good time! :)
The week after I went to my Grandpa's bday party, I made the trip out to Utah to go to my best friend's wedding... Brian got hitched!!!
And he married such a fantastic girl! I just love Ali! I couldn't have picked a better match for him myself. The entire weekend was so much fun. I was so happy I got to go out and be a part of it.
I flew in on Friday....rehearsal dinner Friday night, sealing Saturday in slc...and of course the reception that evening. Then I flew home Sunday night on the redeye. It was a quick trip, but so worth it. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Oh...and I got to see Julie too! She came to the reception.....A very mini MAcc reunion. Ha.

So, Joshua, Mckay and I made our way up to Hartford to go to the concert! It was a lot of fun.

oh...and did I mention this was my first ever concert? (At least one that I had to buy a ticket for...I don't think the free Stix concert that Sharon and I went to when we were 16 should count.)
