I've never been the biggest fan of "favorite" questions...What's your favorite color? Well - it depends. Your favorite food? Again..it depends on my mood. Favorite Dessert? Same answer. Favorite pass-time? I dunno. anyway...you get the point. But there are a couple of things I have definite favorites...like my favorite sport - definitely and always will be basketball. And then of course there is that favorite TV show..and if any of you know anything about me, you know that my most favorite TV show nowadays is 24. I'm clearly obsessed with it. And just about everyone knows that about me. I always make it a point at work to let everyone know that on Monday nights, I have to be home by 9! (And yes..because I'm an accountant and sometimes work crazy hours- 9 can sometimes be considered early).
Well...24 just finished it's 6th season. And throughout this season, I've had to deal with hearing people's opinions about how the show is "losing it" or just "not that good" or "slow" or whatever other dumb thing they can think of to just complain. And while I do admit that it was definitely not 24's best season, it is clearly still one of the best shows out there. It just doesn't compare to some of the other choices out there...like watching kinda famous people that can't dance. I hate how everyone thinks of themselves as the worlds best critic and how they have to analyze everything. "That's just not realistic...No one man could do all that!" Well - no kidding! That's why it is TV!! It doesn't have to be realistic..it just has to be entertaining!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But what is annoying is when people complain specifically to you because they know you like it! I can almost guarantee that every week on Tuesday someone will say something stupid to me about the show the night before. Like they can change my mind or something and convince me it's not a good show..! I usually just shrug my shoulders, tell them I still like it, and wait for them to shut up.
So - to all you self-aclaimed TV critics (and you know who you are)...if you don't like it, don't watch it! Or just keep it to yourself and stop trying to ruin it for others!
You won't ever change my mind and there is one good reason for that....

Kieffer Sutherland certainly is a hottie, even for his age. I guess some things do get better with age. :)

I wonder who would win in a fight between Walker: Texas Ranger and Jack Bauer.
Of course, you would say Jack Bauer, but have you seen some of the things Walker did in that show?... whew!
I think that would make a good show. Walker Vs Bauer!
Maybe Chuck Norris can play a terrorist in an upcoming season of 24.
we LOVE this show! it is seriously the only show evan and i can agree on and we watch it religiously. and i'm so with you - i don't care what anyone says. it's the best show out there, period.
