So - here I am sitting in my apartment with about 3 or 4 blankets and a large mug of hot chocolate trying to warm up. Apparently the heater in my apartment decided to stop working at some point....and it's now VERY cold!! The needle on my thermostat is as low as it gets....so I know it is lower than 50 degrees in here! And I think it's about 10 degrees or less outside - So I'm sure it will be even colder by the time I wake up! How fun!
My fingers are freezing from trying to type on my computer. It's so freaking cold! I called home to tell my parents my little dilemma...They suggested that I should call my Landlord or someone that could come fix it. But me...not wanting to disturb anyone at 11 at night and being the "tough" girl that I am (I mean...I am from Canada where it gets much colder than this)...told my parents I could wait until the morning! Besides...It will be an adventure! They just better fix it tomorrow!

Hey girl! That's terrible that your heater went out on such a cold night. I hope you got it fixed without too many days of suffering!
BTW, I'm still planning on NYC March 8th-12th. Love to see you if you can make it down. If not, hopefully I'll get a chance to see you the next time you're in Utah. Cheers!
I hate cold weather! I would hate having no heat!
And I am telling you blow dryers can work wonders on cold feet.
