Welcome to the Family Kim!

So, life has been a little busy. I meant to post these pictures right after the wedding...but...life happened. (Well, the life of an accountant happened.) Anyway...that's another topic for another day.

Welcome to the family Kim!

On Cinco de Mayo, my "little" brother was married to Kim in the Idaho Falls temple.

This is a pictures of us the night before the wedding in our hotel room...

And this was the morning of the wedding right before Dave had to leave to go to the temple...! Needless to say...I was having a hard time letting my bro go. Dave will always been my "little" brother..even though he is like 6'2" and towers over me. :) There are 4 kids in our family..but there is such a big gap between me and my older siblings (7 years between me and Steve and 10 years between me and Kathy) that for much of my life it was just me and Dave.

But I am so happy for Dave and Kim! They are so happy together and that's what is important! Here are a few more pictures from the wedding...

My family...everyone was there except for Dan and the kids. Mom, Dad, Kathy and myself flew out there with Jetblue and Steve & Janet and the kids drove 20 hours from Wisconsin! It was great to have the family together. (By the way..this picture is cropped so it's a bit blury..sorry)

The boys...Kim's brother, Dave, Steve, and Aaron (Dave's friend).

After the ceremony, there was a luncheon for family and friends. And there the reception was in the evening at the church. Everything went well and it was a good day!

So...another cool thing about the wedding being in Idaho is that I got to go visit Ricks College campus. I haven't been back since I graduated! It was weird seeing "BYU-Idaho" written everywhere. To me..it will always be Ricks! I had some good memories walking around campus. A lot is still the same. But there are are a lot of new buildings, many new apartments, and a lot more choices of restaurants and stores!

They still have the scroll!!

And of course the Viking!

The day after the wedding, we all (except Kim and Dave of course) went down to SLC and hung out there for a couple of days. Kathy had never been to Salt Lake so we did the temple square tour and all that stuff and did some shopping. I, of couse, ate at Cafe Rio and all my favorite restaurants and saw a few of my friends. Maybe i'll post a few more pictures later..But i just have to get one more picture in....
