Just me, the boyz...and the Celtics.

On Friday as soon as we all could get out of our fantastic jobs...Reid, Josh, Mckay and I headed up to Boston to see the Celtics play the New Orleans Hornets...

We made it up to Boston...checked in to our hotel and made our way over to the Garden... Where we climbed to basically the very top of it to get to our seats. The Celtics are way good this year...tickets are pretty much always sold out... So Mckay bought them on ebay (i think). Kinda expensive..but it was worth it.

Just me and my boys...gotta love 'em. (Nice face Reid!)

We were so excited to be there.. Well - I look excited to be there. Joshua kinda looks in shock..but I think he was just getting sick of my camera in his face. He really was excited to be there too, I promise.

The Celtics beat the Hornets.....It was a good game and a lot of fun to watch. After the game we (eventually) got something to eat and went back to the hotel. Saturday....it was too cold for us wimps to really do much in Boston...so we slept in, ate lunch at the Quincy Market..and then headed back to CT (where I took a nice nap because I did not get much sleep in Boston)!!

It was a lot of fun....but who wouldn't have fun hanging out with these fantastic guys and watching basketball all at the same time!?!?! I got a little camera happy.....Here are some of the pics...

Recruiting and a little Idol...

I was in Utah last weekend for another recruiting trip. Flew in Friday morning...did the recruiting thing all day Saturday..and took the redeye home Saturday night.. So it was a short trip.

The weather in Utah was great when I was there...So I took advantage of it and went on a couple of good runs Friday and Saturday. I SO wish I was in Utah to train for this 1/2 marathon..... There just aren't that many good places to run around where I live and especially at this time of the year.

Anyway....Besides my runs and visiting with a couple of friends...I didn't have time for much else. Recruiting took all day Friday because we took the students up to Olympic park to hit up the zip line and this raft that slides down a part of this hill...

On the raft with some of the BYU students. Last year I only got to do the zipline..but sledding down in this raft was way more fun! The first time I went down the raft started to turn and I got scared the thing was going to flip over...so I grabbed onto the guy next to me...who happened to be a partner that works in my office. hmm..that was awkward! ha ha..oh well! :)

Just goofing around in the little museum thing they had at the park... A couple of recruits are in the bobsled with me...
I'm actually headed back out to Utah next week for some more recruiting...it's kinda convenient cause some of my family will also be in town and just so happens that one of my really good friends is getting married that weekend. It's times like these that I'm grateful for my job and free plane tickets. :)

So....the wii. Joshua found himself a new game he likes.. American Idol. Ever play it? If you haven't....you should. It's a lot of fun. The only thing I would change is add a million more songs to it. There are definitely not enough!

Anyway...a few of us got together at Josh's the other night to play the game... and for some VERY weird reason...Reid thought he should wear these jeans...
Jennah and I are still not exactly sure what he was thinking. And don't worry Alison...I told him to NEVER leave home in those again. Oh Reid...always good for a laugh.

And just because I can...And because I know that Alison and Jake will enjoy this....Here is a little video of Josh and Reid playing a little wii...

The Big East

I love March!....Why? Well, I definitely don't love it for the fact that it's "tax season"...but there is one reason why March is just such a great month......Basketball, Basketball, Basketball!

Last night Mckay, Jennah, and I made our way down to NYC and went to Madison Square Garden to watch a couple of the Big East tournament games. We saw Pittsburgh beat Cincinnati and then Marquette beat Seton Hall. And it just got me so excited for March Madness to get started! There is just nothing like watching college basketball and all the upsets - I can't wait!

Jennah and I were so excited to be there (if you couldn't tell from this picture). And can I just tell you how fun it is to have a friend that's a girl to love watching basketball! I have never met a girl like Jennah...she watches pretty much all sports and knows more about what's going on then most guys do! Kinda a rarity.

Jennah and I got a little camera happy at the game! We had to do something to keep ourselves entertained during the millions of time outs. When you are watching it on TV, you don't really realize just how many time outs they take between the real time outs and the TV time outs. There are a ton....or at least it felt like it.

So....let me tell you a bit about Jennah. I'm not sure why we weren't friends sooner. We have SO much in common. We both graduated from BYU in 2005 and have both been living in Connecticut since....but we didn't start hanging out until not all that long ago. And I can't for the life of me figure out why. We both love sports, love to travel, take a million pictures, and share the same opinions about stupid target drivers... We are like 2 peas in a pod! ha

I mean - How can you not love someone that looks like this??? :) ha ha...

So - after millions of goofy pictures..Jennah finally said - "ok - seriously...let's take a cute one". Apparently this is what she thought was cute.....

Yes, we are holding our legs straight up in the air while trying to hold the camera and fit our faces into the screen. We are SO talented.

Finally..we got at least one normal one!

Oh...and how could I forget Mckay.. I just love this kid.
