Dave & Me.

Dave came to NYC a couple of weeks ago and I got to go hang out with him for 1 of the nights he was here. Ironically I ended up being in Utah most of the time he was here..so this 1 night was the only chance to see him. We got some dinner and just hung out. It was lots of fun! :)

ChiCaGo - My Kind of Town.

On Saturday I added another broadway to my list...I met up with Nicole for one last night on the town with her! She is going back to Utah this week which is sad cause I could always count on her wanting to go see a show with me!

I met up with Nicole at Grand Central station...she was nice enough to go stand in line at the TKTS booth and get us tickets. We ended up getting tickets to Chicago. But we had some time before the show so we took the subway down to the Shake Shack at Madison Square Park. They make awesome shakes and really good greasy burgers! :) You know..the healthy stuff! It's a pretty popular place...always a line. But the line moves quick enough that it is worth the wait.

After dinner in the park we headed back up town towards the theater. Chicago will make broadway number 5 since i've lived here....and 7 in total if you count the two i saw before moving here. Not nearly as many as Nicole who told me that Chicago made it an even dozen for her in the 4 short months she has lived in NYC!!

I really liked Chicago...It has some good music. Oh..and Joey Lawrence was starring in it!(WOAH!) ha ha. Nicole and I both agree though that a couple of the best broadway's we have seen so far are definitely Wicked and The Lion King. It was a fun night....I'll keep my fingers crossed that you come back to NY Nicole! :)

Pizza, Pizza...

For the past couple of weeks I have had a roommate again! Jaime moved in for about a month before she leaves me for good for Grad school in Virginia. It's been fun having a roommate again and hanging out. Friday we drove up to New Haven to meet some friends for pizza...And took a few pictures on the way up... :)

We were practicing for our modeling careers! ha ha. Aren't we just gorgeous! :)

Jaime was driving...but don't worry she didn't take her eyes off the road! So we were safe. :)
We met Rob, Spencer, Jim and some other people in New Haven at Frank Pepe's Pizzeria. Very good pizza!! There were about 10 of us and we downed 4 very large pizza!

It was sooooo good!! Other pizza just doesn't compare to East coast pizza! You just don't know what you are missing! yum!
More Pizza!! - Earlier in the week..Julie was in town so a few of us old BYU accountants got together for dinner at Lombardi's Pizzeria in the city. Which is also way good pizza! And is supposedly the first pizzeria in North America...

John is a big fan of the place..so when I got there he wanted to give me a tour. So we walked over to the kitchen and the manager saw us looking around and told us to come up to the oven to take a closer look. He said the oven is about 900 degree! That's HOT! And apparently they only cook the pizza for 3 minutes!! That's fast! If you are even in NYC..I definitely recommend Lombardi's.
We then crossed the street to Rice To Riches where we met up with Candice and took another picture! It was fun to see some of the gold gang!
